Après sa formation d‘orfèvre, Christofer Born a fait ses études en design à Vienne et à Nuremberg. En 1996 il a obtenu le titre "Meisterschüler".
Après ses études il a exercé dans les entreprises Rational dans le secteur "engineering" et Niessing en design et "management de produits".
Ensuite il a entrepris un voyage en Australie où il a tenu des conférences à l‘université de Perth et de Sidney. Il a profité de son séjour sur ce continent pour faire de l‘escalade intensive sur les montagnes escarpées.

Son design se rapporte uniquement à l‘inspiration initiale du produit. Nombreuses créations sont basées sur des inventions techniques. Ceci signifie qu’il met sur le marché seulement des produits nouveaux et non modifiés. Pour Christofer Born l’objectif principal est que l’utilisateur éprouve un plaisir intense en utilisant ses objets.
Le luminaire Lichtsack qu’il a développé – non sans un clin d’oeil – se classe déjà parmi les "objets classiques".
Avec WATERCLIMBING il a réussi à "domestiquer" l‘escalade extrême sur les falaises plongeant dans la mer (deep-water-soloing / psicobloc), activité sportive actuellement très prisée permettant à quiconque d’exercer sans danger ce sport fascinant.
De nombreux produits de Christofer Born ont obtenu des prix de design prestigieux.
Ewald Winkelbauer

He has received
his master in design from the University of Design,
Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany, in 1979. He has joined the
design studio Engel from 1980 to 1990.
In 1990 he found Winkelbauer-Design and is engaged in
industrial design with famous brands as Stabilo, Eco,
WMF, Silit, Fissler, Thomas-Rosentahl, Kettler, Stern,
Metdra, Quattrifolio, Tronconi and others famous brands.
Several designs of his work have received international
design awards as bathtub for Düker, loudspeaker for
Yahama, IF award for quattrifolio-lights, design plus, IF
awards, red dot awards, Branion award, PPS product of
the year, for Stabilo-Pens.
Herlon Creazione

The design partner of Pema Fashion,
Herlon Creazione have developed fabric design for the
lichtsack series from the Christofer Born.
The Idea behind this design is to create a bridge
between fashion and lighting to express unity in style.
The presented Herlon Creazione autunno, a special
Lichtsack series speaks for itself.
Design has to be seen from different prospective.
Nachacht
Design(Germany)
Nachacht is made
up of 3 designers from Berlin, Mark Bergold,Julian
Jaede and Martin Schmid. The label was founded by
Mark and Julian in 2007 who decided to meet after
after work(nachacht literally translates to “after
eight“) to develope ideas for furniture design.
All
the projects from nachacht have an intuitive element
of adjustability for personal preference that allows
the user to change the colour and material break-up
of the object to suit their taste. All the designs
are essentially based around two core material types
– wood and coloured metal, which gives the design a
strong graphic element.

Chabot, who is dedicated to open your home to mood,
warmth and relaxing functionality.
In.grid cube, In.grid sphère and
In.grid dome are an architectural light
invention, patented by her, which influenced
particularly the mood-lighting design world.
Her light designs inspire the spirit and the senses.
Any space gets especially at night added value
through spectacular 3D-shadow patterns and optical
moiré effects. This gives the spectator a light
experience of space expanding, meditative, sensual
and architectural dimension.
Her company and brand rc-products™ was founded in
2003
and is based in Switzerland. She has a master’s
degree in architecture from the ETH Zürich. Her
background is strongly formed by architecture,
photography and art in a very international work-
and life style.
Design NorBu
(Asia)
The
roots are in the fastest growing economy in the world
and stands for ambitious people working in the network
